The day of interactive design or better known as the interaction design day is a day that celebrates the use of interaction as a means to improve the human condition, this event takes place every year, where presentations are held , workshops and seminars, to name a few, this year’s version will be held on September 27, 2022.
The first version of this special day was held in 2018, although it is only 5 years old, it is becoming one of the most important days for designers and non-designers alike, the event has become so relevant that this year’s version is being supported by Adobe.
EVER BIGGER AND BETTER
It is important to bear in mind that each version has a characteristic theme, this year being fundamentals and perspective, for which reason all events will have this theme as their main focus, which will always be linked to interaction, which can be of any type, from virtual to analog with the human being as the axis and how he interacts with his environment.
The importance of this event has reached such a point that in the 2021 version, it was held in Scotland, with the country’s government itself as a sponsor. At this time the pandemic was still at a critical point, for this reason the event was totally virtual and focused on solidarity and transformation, focused on how to adapt to a changing world and finding ways to solve user problems regardless of the challenges that they are facing.
Thanks to advances in vaccination around the world, this year’s version returns in person, in some parts of the world, allowing attendees to participate in a much more active way and interact directly with exhibitors, which will lead to a greater understanding and a much more enriching discussion.
NATIONAL REPRESENTATION
This year’s version will have a representative from Colombia, the CEO of Sperientia Studio + Lab will give a seminar on jobs-to-be-done, “In this talk I will introduce the basic ideas of JTBD, and I will present how within Sperientia [studio+lab]® we have applied these concepts to investigate UX and CX in the initiatives in which we serve our clients.” (IxDD 2022 – Events, 2022), taken directly from his words.
This conference will be held in Cali at the Banco de Occidente auditorium and also virtually by Zoom, demonstrating the global importance of this day, since exhibitors from different parts of the world participate, each one with their own perspective but all taking into account tells the main theme, rationale and perspective.

In conclusion, this event gains strength every year and gradually becomes one of the most important international events on design issues, which is aimed at both designers and people related to this area, who seek to learn different points of view. of many people throughout the world.
We hope that in the next versions of the event we will have a greater participation of Latin American and especially Colombian exhibitors, which will allow us to become a power in design issues and demonstrate what we are capable of.
